The Leather Project

In 2020 I was given a live project briefed with Leather UK to create a 100% cow hide outfit. Using victorian mourning as a design concept, I chose a dark concept that reciprocated the production of leather to create a symbiotic design portfolio. Educating myself on the etiquette of death in the 19th century gave me knowledge on the meanings of the outfits as well as the process which enabled me to design some garments with a historic essence.
